World of Cheese

On July 12, 2008, Pelee Island Winery presents the World of Cheese with Greg Williams from Market Square's Far Flung Foods. Greg will be pairing pair six wines with cheeses. "Say Cheese" class at the LCBO

On Thursday, May 17 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Greg Williams of Far Flung Foods will be at the LCBO in the Roundhouse Centre to guide you through the creamy, rich, stringy, gooey world of cheese. Greg will discuss the history of cheese, how it is made and what makes it different (and similar) from culture to culture. Samples from around the world will be plated and matched with some great wines. Don't miss this very special class.

3rd Annual OCS Conference

Along with Ruth Klahsen (Owner, Lead Cheesemaker, Monforte Dairy), Cole Snell (President, Provincial Fine Foods) and Rob Velenik (Director of Catering, Pusateri’s), Greg Williams of Far Flung Foods will be debating the challenges of retailing cheese at the 3rd Annual Ontario Cheese Society Conference on March 23rd in Toronto.
